Gone Home (2012-2014)
‘Gone Home’ is a collection of photographs that witnesses my three daughters’ transition from late adolescence towards independence against the backdrop of the family home. Time moves slowly in this world yet can be seen and felt in the threadbare arm of a chair or the tear in a screen door. These portraits are an offering— from mother to daughter, and daughter to mother. Behind the gaze of both there is a sense of letting go and making ready for what lies ahead.
